Leslie Johnson, LPC
Therapist
Leslie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a graduate of Washington University, where he earned a masters degree in Psychology and bachelor’s degree in education from Harris Stowe. He specializes in helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related stress, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide practical, evidence-based strategies for lasting change. Leslie believes that each person’s individuality—their thoughts, ideas, and emotions—shapes who they truly are. He recognizes that seeking validation from others can sometimes contribute to feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. Through counseling, he helps clients develop the skills needed to become the best version of themselves, discover their strengths and interests, and build a strong sense of self-awareness. His goal is to support personal growth, enhance cognitive abilities, and foster critical thinking. Leslie’s approach also focuses on strengthening emotional intelligence, improving communication skills, and helping individuals identify their unique style, ambitions, and life goals. He works with clients to clarify their values and create meaningful changes that align their lives with those values. Leslie believes that by embracing opportunities for growth and using time intentionally, we can all move toward becoming the best version of ourselves.
